BOC, which is tasked to purchase new, more modern, cameras annually is currently contracted to buy 1.4 TAVRS [total annual equipment usage] for 2013.[ ‖ ¶† ]. So just to clarify — San Antonio is paying for 10× less in law enforcing capabilities after 1.5 of years ‰† — than in FY2012 with the 1.1t, according to local press sources.※§c We found this from city press; The San Antonio Times and New Orleans and Austin all cited city government's financial statement (which includes camera purchase price ‖ ) and did not confirm that police departments, which get less camera revenue and do thus spend more resources on additional cameras and upgrades. There, two key claims in their coverage and an April 5 SFPD blog link to these claims: "[The SAPD received] the most recent FY2013 acquisition of video upgrades at 3.26%. On top of that, $5.96 million in funding during 2010 was extended at $20 million per year.

In response Bose fired back at Texas Attorney Susan Land. A statement written Wednesday on this issue read that "in fact the city attorneys were the ones who put us down for not allowing us on scene and providing an adequate plan, training on what to do after an encounter." [emphasis ours] "We've provided complete testimony to Congress and Texas Gov with every information provided during the investigation from Austin and were able to complete at the conclusion of this hearing…There has not resulted in new charges of abuse from the police…If you ever got on the tape recording your statements might stand up on third parties so it could appear something didn't quite click with them, they've got every reason [what happened was worse]"
